Prudential Sourcebook

As I understand it, Prudential Sourcebook is some sort of internal British standard for the supervising of the finacial services industry. Could someone elaborate?

Please correct me if I am wrong. Is it indeed confined to the financial services industry and the UK?

This may help. Looks to me as though it’s a collection of risk-control guidelines from the Financial Services Authority, the U.K. financial regulator.
