If you really hate a local radio station (country, oldies, take your pick) and someone that likes this station is you ride to work or school, there is an easy way to listen to that alternitive station you like rather than listening to Garth Brooks and other hated artists. Just go to your local electronics shop and ask for a FM transmitter kit. (it’s not expensive, cost me $4) After completing this kit tune it to the hated station’s frequency. Next time that your coworker turns on his or her terrible station, just turn on your transmitter and put it in a drawer. If the radio is in range (approx. 80 ft.) the station that you don’t like will just show up as static. Simply suggest that the confused coworker turn it to your station, it works great!
