Why? I can think of at least 2 or 3 trolls who’ve been here longer and actually disrupt threads, but they don’t get banned because they don’t admit what they’re doing. psxer doesn’t disrupt threads and is straightforward with what he’s doing. Why whould he be banned when a much more disruptive troll like Starving artist is allowed free reign. PsXer is cool.

All PsXer did was get a bunch of dopers to go “Grr!Arrgh!” I’d give him a medal, but getting dopers to go “Grr! Arrgh!” is as easy as getting a cat to bat at string. So no medal. But he’s harmless, fessed up to what he did, and is far far from the most annoying troll on this board.
And I have to admit, copying someones post from antoher board, while I don’t approve (scowls furiously) doesn’t ping my outrage meter.

I don’t think people like him so much that he’s so bad at being a troll that people actually feel sorry for him.
He’s certainly not contributing anything.
Have you already forgotten all the posts where people empathized with you?
People aren’t just saying they feel sorry for him. You can feel sorry for someone, and still hate them. Nobody seems to hate the guy, and some people seem to actively enjoy him.
And I know several posters who have contributed less. PSXer has started topics that people respond to, and, by extension, anything they say that isn’t about him is a contribution he made possible. Furthermore, on the topics he actually likes, we’ve had actual discussions.
Oh, and I also want to tell Frank that he’s got a little piece of something just outside his nose…oh, wait, it appears to be coming up through his ass.
“Hate” is something too strong for people I generally feel on a message board. I only get even close to hate with 1-3 posters on this board. But I certainly don’t like him. His posts are always so dumb that it makes me pause for a moment just to try to purge my mind of them before moving on.
that was a bit creepy, but in the thread, that he started Braingutten made one of the best posts I ever read, truly fighting my ignorance on the subject
I disagree. I dont think I have ever posted in one of his threads, but his random threads do seem to create a bit of discussion. I personally like reading random threads about twenty year old films, for example, or even the sillier threads that his friend starts. They cause no harm whatsoever.
I have no doubt that the mods will eventually ban him, using trolling as an excuse. Why they would bother when they are ignoring the more toxic trolls that are shitting the place up is for them to not bother answering either.
