Pulling the plug on DishTV

Question: Can the cable that’s plugged into the satellite dish outside be disconnected from the dish and attached to a HDTV antenna and use that cable that already goes into the house without converter boxes to view OTA TV’?

If I understand everything correctly. Then yes. I did the same thing with our directv with no problems. Im sure youll have to have a tv with a tuner built in. Which has been standard for a while now

Been awhile since I had satellite, and then it was DirecTV never Dish, but that should just be a coaxial cable perfectly suited for either. Just make sure there aren’t any little ‘boxes’ left over anywhere in the run of the cable.
