Pulp Fiction question

Can’t it be both? Hope to catch Butch there, when he’s not there, plan to hang around for a bit and go through the drawers in the meantime to see if you can find any convenient flight itineraries.

Marsellus went to get coffee and donuts because he wanted coffee and donuts. Who was going to tell him no?

I’d always assumed it was a party that had run all night long and was just winding down. Hadn’t thought of it as a brothel before; which would also explain how Marsellus managed to locate The Wolf so quickly in the pre-cell phone/social media era.

Given the Wolf’s status, his manner of dress and even his car, I would say it was a staid party.

The Wolf was at an underground gambling party.

In Reservoir Dogs, the warehouse they are in is in silverlake, CA which is named after silverlake reservoir (get it?).

Also all the hot babes circulating among the clientel. Sort of like the classy brothel Tony Soprano et al. frequented.

With respect to drug use, I bow to everyone’s collective expertise.

Staid people don’t frequent brothels?

Don’t you think that in a brothel, a bedroom would be the most occupied room in the house?

Depends on how many bedrooms there are.

Maybe Winston owned the place. Who knows?

Well that one he was sitting on looked neat and un-used. That’s unlikely, even in a high-class bordel.

Check the bedroom set next time; see if it’s oak.

Oak’s nice.

It seems to me that Marcellus’ best chance of catching Butch is to move rapidly; he sent his crew everywhere so he’s spread a little thin. I wouldn’t be surprised if Vincent went straight from the area to Butch’s place and Marcellus said ‘I’ll swing by in the morning’.

I wouldn’t assume The Bonnie Situation car was Jule’s personal ride, more likely is was something clean that they were provided for the job, just like the guns in the trunk (we should have shot guns for this).

Straight from the arena.

No, the warehouse was in Highland Park, CA on Figueroa and Ave. 59.

Well, in all honesty, my source is a washed up old meth head who claimed to have worked on the movie. So perhaps he was wrong, or a complete liar (though I know for a fact he has worked on many movies as a grip).

I dunno, there’s definitely gambling going on in the back round, there could easily be a bar, some food, and a couple of women available even if they’re not the main attraction.

That never occurred to me before, but that would make sense out of Jules’ answer to the Wolf asking him does it stall, does it make a lot of noise, etc. He says “As far as I know, the motherfucker’s tip-top.” That isn’t how I would answer about a vehicle I owned and drove daily. You know if your own car stalls, smokes, has a taillight out.

Well, plus Jules never says anything along the lines of “you got this nigger’s brains all over my car, motherfucker!” He further expresses no concern about the loss of the car - I figured once they got to the wrecking yard, the car (along with the corpse in the trunk) would be crushed into a cube or otherwise destroyed - and somewhat casually walks to the diner with Vincent.

No, he didn’t do it personally. According to the script…
