Pulp Fiction - What's on the radio when Butch runs into Marcel?

Butch (Bruce Willis) has just left his old apartment after killing Vincent on the can, when, worse luck of all, he’s spotted by Marcel as the latter crosses the street.

What song is on the car radio at this moment?

I believe it’s “Countin’ Flowers on the Wall.”
Happy

“Flowers on the Wall” by the Statler Brothers

Smoking Cigarettes and watching Captain Kangaroo, now don’t tell me, I’ve nothing to do.

Then

MW - “Mother F—er”.

Butch - accelerates then slamsthe car into MW. A lady talks to him, then MW says “I’ll Be Damned”

MW takes out his gun and shoots at Butch - hits him once, and he also hits a couple other people.

Then they stumble into the Pawn Shop.

I dont’ think MW hits Butch, does he? I know the first shot hits the one lady in the thigh, but then doesnt’ Butch just run off without getting hit?

Hmmm, methinks I need to rewatch the movie…

No, butch doesn’t get shot by MW. Butch’s bleeding from breaking his nose when his car runs into that building.

Well, more limp than run.

“Smoking Cigarettes and watching Captain Kangaroo”

A line John McClain (Willis) says at the opening of Die Hard 3, starring fellow PFer Samuel L. Jackson.

I thought MW hits Butch like in the thigh - making Butch limp.
I forgot about the nose getting broken and bleeding.

I may have to rewatch Pulp Fiction as well.

Butch should have untied The Gimp! The poor guy!

It’s “Marsellus” btw.

(Going for a couple a days without anyone mentioning this is: Good that the SDMB is fairly tame. Bad that there aren’t enough PF geeks running around.???)

I’ve heard that the woman Marsellus shoots is the woman whose car Mr. White and Mr. Orange steal after Mr. Brown crashes theirs in Reservoir Dogs. QT must not like her much…

That woman is Tim Roth’s dialect coach. In the special edition DVD interview with Tim Roth (and the Reservoir Dogs Synchronized Swimmers), Tim Roth admits he got her that job in Reservoir Dogs. He said she’s the one who goes over his dialog and makes notes about what he does wrong. I think shooting her in the movie is payback for all the work she makes him do.

Work is work.

Close. As Grace points out, the lady whose car is stolen in “Reservoir Dogs” by Mrs. White and Orange and who then gets shot is Suzanne Celeste, a dialect coach. She did NOT appear in “Pulp Fiction.”

The woman who gets shot in the leg in “Pulp Fiction” is played by Linda Kaye. She was in “Reservoir Dogs” as the woman whose car is stolen by Mr. Pink - you’ll recall he dragged her out the window.

Lawrence Bender, who was one of the producers of the film, has a small part in the film too. IIRC, he’s one of the policeman Mr. Pink has a shootout with before driving off in a stolen car. I believe he also had a bit part in Pulp Fiction.

I think Bender is the “Yuppie Scum” in the diner in PF.
