How does one capitalize ‘occident’ and ‘orient’ anyway?
Now that I’ve started my own thread with a hijack, onwards to the meat and potatoes! I was chatting with my friend the other day, and we were discussing the whole concept of sex whilst living at home with your parents. His parents didn’t allow it while mine didn’t really talk about it at all. In any case, mum was the word (not literally of course, unless you’re into that sorta thing, not that there’s anything wrong with that). We’re both from middle-class America, so in any case our houses were big enough to get away with it.
Currently he’s living in Japan. Many Japanese people live at home until marriage or beyond, so I mentioned how small their houses were and pondered upon how Japanese people have sex*. I then unwittingly uttered the following:
“Dude, they’d have to be fucking ninjas.”
!!! I laughed so hard I almost plotzed. No, I am not Yiddish. I like the word ok big whoop wanna fight about it?
