When I went to the eye doctor the other day the tech dilated my pupils to perform a camera (something) test. I noticed that while while dilated I could see quite a bit better. I’ve noticed that my night vision seems to be not quite as sharp as it was when I was younger. Not a lot, but some.
My question;
Do one’s pupils reaction to light change with age, and is this tested/treated?
Related question;
I’v seen glasses for sale advertised for shooting/computer/night driving. They all had yellow lenses. Do they work?
Peace,

Cataracts can cause you to lose some night vision. However, I had bilateral cataract surgery and my night vision is still diminished. As you get older, your ability to read in dim light diminishes. You need more light to see well. Cataracts can cause that, but there must be other reasons, as I still cannot read well in dim light.
I don’t see how yellow lenses would help, unless you are bothered with halo effects around bright lights at night.
