The sad fact is that most shelters have little problem adopting out puppies. I’m not sure older dogs would provide as much entertainment value. They tend to be penned separately.

Ahh, true. Perhaps just as an attention getter, then. One puppycam per pound with a ‘find out about our other dogs’ link (plus the ‘donate now’ button). Maybe some non-streaming video for each animal behaving at his or her best– the sort of thing a volunteer could do in an afternoon and post quite easily online.

How can we find out when the pups are going to be adopted? I would like to know beforehand so it’s not a jolt when I see 5, then 4, then…

Ha, you and I are 6181 and 6182. I have them in a popup window at the top right of my screen, so I can be reading other things while keeping an eye on them.
Did you see, the lady human was there a while ago, and she had the coolest pajama pants on, with skulls and pirates. I like how they can now use the doggy door to go outside whenever they want.

Think I may be getting some video lag. Seeing a lot of blurred motion…and the pups are running all over the place, like somebody spiked their puppy chow with caffine.
