Ok, so being a pretty medium sized town (Toledo, OH) our local FOX affiliate finds broadcasting attempts to rescue a 3-week-old puppy out of a 75’ well.
Keep in mind one of the best nights in modern comedic television ensues while I stare at footage of a well, and occasionally view a puppy inside the well from a pole-mounted camera.
OK, so? How do we get the puppy out of the well? It looks like its about 1’ wide, and as I mentioned earlier, 75 - 80’ deep. Please get this damned puppy out of the well in time for Family Guy!
On a side note, what nerve FOX-Toledo has to call a puppy trapped in a well ‘Breaking News.’ And even greater nerve broadcasting over good television because of it.

I don’t think that’s even remotely funny unless you’ve seen it.
How the hell did a little puppy get all the way down a 75 foot well? Did someone lower it down there? It sure as hell didn’t fall 75 feet and then need help up, right?
I mean come on, how DID this happen. I want breaking news on THAT. Oh, and if they could get a camera all the way down there, why didn’t they just send with it some kind of snare?
Honestly people, this is messing with my head.
The puppy was ALIVE, right? They weren’t broadcasting 3 hours of a puppy corpse? That would boggle my mind so much I’d have to lay down. Ooh.
