This is a weird one.
This morning, the Purolator guy came and delivered a package. Despite my effort, one of my dogs managed to get between my legs and run out to greet the courier. The dog was not aggressive in any way (and I’ve never seen this dog express aggression toward humans) and was back in the house a couple of seconds later. The courier seemed pretty cool with it.
However, later, I noticed a white reflective disc about two cm. in diameter had been affixed to one of the wooden pillars in front of the house.
So, I’m wondering, is this some sort of a hi-tek hobo code that couriers use to mark houses for each other? If so, is there a specific meaning to a white disc?
