Pussy is dead

Really surprised to not see a thread for actor Vincent Pastore (Big Pussy Bonpensiero on The Sopranos). He was a major player in that series, but I suspect it was difficult for him to leave that character behind. He was 80.

Vincent Pastore knew how to fill a part.

Excellent actor.

RIP

I originally expected the thread was about the actress who played Pussy Galore.

But I just looked her up and Honor Blackman died in 2020 at age 94. Funny, I had thought that character was from a much later Bond film than Goldfinger in 1964. And therefore that the actress was much younger.

Anyway, four dollars a pound

(sorry to hear it)

It’s funny - by sheer coincidence, I happened to see him on a 5th season episode of Law & Order just a few hours ago. Turns out, he played 4 different characters on the few years of the show. A consummate professional

At least he outlived Little Pussy.

I think everyone living in New York while the show as in production was obligated to appear at least once.

Is that a good thread title?

No cat died in the making of this thread.

And Pussy Galore.

I’ve seen a few little videos he made with his dachshund in the last few years. He sure loved that dog.

No. It should have been “Pussy is sleeping with the fishes”

And not in the Witness Protection Program.

Fabiana Udenio is still alive.

Pastore’s character was one of my favorites on The Sopranos. I especially enjoyed when he began “helping” the FBI a bit too much, incompetently staking out and following the other mobsters. And of course, he was a really good talking fish. RIP.

As did I.

Based on time the message was posted, I had also just looked up Honor Blackman and saw she died in 2020. I saw her in Columbo and seemed to remember that she was still alive and checked it out).

She was 38 when she filmed Goldfinger.

I mean, he played wise guys before, and he got roles after. He did very well.

She was Alotta Fagina, all right! :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Anybody see him appear in a hallway mirror yet?
