There was, indeed, but I believe he was a Calhoun, as in the Civil War era statesman. The way Amos and Andy and Kingfish referred to him on the show you’d think his name was spelled almost “Cowell-hoon” or with a big emphasis on the HOON part.

Kalhoun is indeed very pretty, but far different that what I imagined.
For gigi, I expected somewhat longer blonde hair. And not as tall.
Giraffe is tall, yellow, and spotted.
Liberal is ruddy-skinned middle age with short balck hair and a weathered face.
JayneNewell is a slender pretty thing with long brown hair.
velvetjones has shoulder-length black hair, fair skin, bright eyes and a wide smile.

Ooh, I’d love to have red hair to go with my pasty Irish complexion, but actually my hair is very dark (almost black), and I generally wear it long & straight (about 1/2 way down my back).

Yeah, I definitely saw Kalhoun as dark-haired and no-nonsense, kind of a tomboy. Jodi too, with the clipped tone of a L&O lawyer. I just saw Missy2U in another thread–she strikes me as long wavy blond hair and a gentle face.
That’s pretty close to what I would have said. Except for the silver-framed glasses I picture.
Jodi is kind of a Katie Kouric type in my brain. Missy2U…I pictured her kind of Irish-looking; very fair with red curly hair.
