Puzzle: Cross off words as the clues eliminate them. What's left II.

Only three people actually posted in the last one saying they did it, but I’m guessing there were probably a few more who did it but just didn’t reply.
So here’s another that might be fun to pass a few minutes with, if anyone is bored.

The Clues:

  1. Cross off each word that is immediately below a three letter word.

  2. Cross off all of the words that contain exactly two C’s

  3. Cross off all words in columns A and D that are respellings of each other (like ANY and NAY are).

  4. Cross off all words that become other common words if the letter J is added at the beginning.

  5. Cross off all six letter words that can be split into two common, three-letter words (like NOT/ICE).

  6. Cross off all words that could follow the word “PAPER” to form a familiar word or phrase.

  7. Cross off all words that contain four of the five vowels (A, E, I, O, and U).

  8. Cross off all the names of types of fuel.

  9. Cross off all words that appear the same in both columns A and C.

  10. Cross off the shortest word that remains in every single column.
    Answer is…

To get your mind off your own troubles, try to help someone with theirs.

Thanks, again. These puzzles are fun.

I missed one of the J words initially, but you can tell at the end if you have a word that shouldn’t be there.
