A home worker, I spend my time teleworking in a small, well ventilated office/study.
A popular customer who frequently visits smokes cigars, which does not bother me.
Would you know, please, if there is any substance to a recent recommendation that burning a candle will help disperse cigar/cigarette smoke?
I have other visitors, too.
Thank you, in anticipation.
You don’t simply want to disperse the smoke, you want to get rid of it. Does the smoke from the cigar hang in the air and not disperse now? If it does, then your room isn’t well ventillated and you need to get freash air moving through the room, not simply stir up the air that is there. Plus, I would certainly hope that the small updraft from a candle would not make anything close to a significant contribution to the airflow in the room. If it does, you have bigger problems.
Lastly, the American Lung Association has this to say about burning candles.
