Quark on DVD? When did this happen?

Does anyone remember Space Force? Another SF comedy ripoff of Star Wars about the same time as Quark, it was only a pilot episode. I recorded it, the sound only (pre VCR days) on cassette, I think it is still in box somewhere.

There was a show called Best Of The West which I thought at the time was hilarious, but didn’t last very long. Had Joel Higgins and Christopher Lloyd in it. I wonder if that is another false memory and it’s actually crap…

I remember this one well. I’m not sure if it would survive well or not.

I re-watched Police Squad a few years ago and it was as good as I remember. All 6 Eps were wonderful and extremely funny. I re-watch Barney Miller or WKRP and they hold up. But Best of the West seemed a little campy. I remember the Mom trying to sweep the floor to get all the dirt up to finally be told it was a dirt floor.

I watched the series during its original airing. I found this, still in its shrink wrap, at a thrift store for $3. I was willing to take a chance on it for that price. After watching the first four episodes I find this series on the same level as Spaceballs: mildly amusing but not outloud funny. The highlights have been Quark’s conversations with Ficus. They are parodies of conversations between Spock and McCoy. I’m glad I didn’t pay full price for this.
