Quasi-public nudity and kids

Surely this question deserves (and has probably received) its own thread.

I remember as a wee lad in the USA in the 1970s, seeing a naked man in the locker room from time to time. So what? (Naked girls or women, now that would have been interesting, but I guess they were…in the other room or something.)

I don’t think it really is, it was a question for opinions about public nudity and when it basically becomes borderline illegal, and it could basically pertain in any country, where children are involved.

Yeah, it’s the double standard that interested me. Seeing a naked guy here is OK, seeing him there is not OK. I agree with everybody about how nudity shouldn’t be a big thing. I was just wondering how a court would recognize the difference.

I understand what you are saying 100%, but I don’t think it is about the naked guy (or I could be dead wrong). I think it is about the exposing part, or is there a comparison able to be made to a guy who walks up to a kid and flashes himself to the guy who is just innocently changing.

What you are talking about (and correct me if I am incorrect) is a place where it is basically accepted to be nude, such as a beach/pool where it is customary for people to be nude. And I have been to many places like that. Me, personally, I am okay with my son seeing guys naked in the locker room. Hell, he can see women naked in the locker room if he had to. If I were to take him to a place where nudity is accepted, it is what I did as a parent and it makes it okay (according to laws, etc.). But if I bring him to the local public park to play on his scooter, I don’t thing it is acceptable for some guy to be there naked making hamburgers on the BBQ. There are certain areas for everything, and this is in every country.
