Quck Jericho Question (and discussion, I suppose)

Mom and Dad called while Jake was confessing whatever it was he did to his Dad.

What did he do?

Oh, and who were the guys who ambushed them?

Oh, and feel free to speculate/discuss.

We don’t know exactly, but when he was in Iraq he apparently caused the death, or at least believes he cause the death, of a little girl. Left it open to be a major theme in an upcoming episode, assuming the show lasts long enough, which I’m beginning to doubt.

No idea, all we saw were legs. Maybe we’ll find out in an upcoming episode, assuming the show lasts long enough, which I’m beginning to doubt.

Why do you doubt it? It’s doing reasonably well in ratings. I would be very surprised if it wasn’t renewed for another season.

I don’t think it’s been doing as well since it came back from hiatus, but nobody expects anything to do well against Idol, so sometimes a small loss is a win.

This show is losing what interest it had. So there are just random guys in a truck, who randomly sit day-in day-out in some empty ass road that almost no one ever drives down, just so they can rob people. And they do it by sitting completely visible across the road, just saying “hey, you with the shotgun… kill me!” rather than attacking from ambush or having a blockade or something.

And of course they have dark tinted windows on their truck in order to look extra-evil. Plus, it was a new-looking truck… shouldn’t it have gotten EMPed?

I have no idea how it’s doing in the ratings. It could very well be renewed and continue on for quite a few more years. My comment was unfair — they’re just my opinion of the show and not that of most viewers. All I know is that it’s not as well written a show as it was, that the soap opera elements seem to be taking over and the survivalism aspects are glossed over and often forgotten by the end of the episode. Unless something good happens during the May sweeps, I won’t be back next year.

I should also point out that I didn’t like the pilot episodes of *The X-Files * and *Ally McBeal * and so never saw anymore of those shows. Just so you can put my opinion in perspective.
