Question about a character in the movie "Blade"

When the zombies attack, keep in mind that those replica type swords can shatter dramatically if you hit something hard with them. Saw a video of a guy on a Home Shopping Network type show; he hit the edge of a table with one and it shattered, with one piece going into him.

Yeah, I’ve seen that video a few times. I’ve heard anecdotes that people could cut cinder blocks with the ‘replica’ Daywalker sword, although I doubt that very much. But I can carve cardboard up quite nicely. So if the zombies are corrugated, I’m set.

There’s quite the art of finding a good sword that you don’t have to pay thousands of dollars for.

That’s a good site for finding them. They actually test the swords hitting hard shit and see if they cut it or not.

Will your insatiable blood lust never be fulfilled?

How tough can vampires be? Blade pretty much kills them wholesale. Not to take anything away from his badassness, but he’s still just one guy.

And no love for Blade Trinity? Sure the Drake AKA Dracula plot line was crap and Jessica Biels does her usual impersonation of a very hot store mannequin. But Parker Posey and Ryan Renolds were a hilareous. I especially enjoyed the Van Wilder-esqu Hannible Kings interplay with the stiff and stoic Blade.

The real problem for me with that one was that normal humans were so bad ass. How the hell did Ryan Reynolds manage to not get pulled into pieces 5 seconds after confronting a vampire? He was just a human being, after all.
