Keep it simple:
Does anyone know of somewhere on the web that I could find what the arabic word (in some dialect or another, multiple if possible) for “desire” looks like?

Sorry, try this instead:
When you put “desire” into that translator, the answer it gives back is “al-raghbah”. Literally “the desire” (al- means ‘the’). Not sure why they thought it necessary to program it to stick the “the” in front of all nouns. The “the” is written with the two parallel vertical lines and a short horizontal connecting line at the right end of the word, in case you wanted to use just the plain word. If you take those letters off, also delete the diacritical mark placed over the r (the third letter from the right). The r is the letter that dips below the line and has a little space to its left. The word you want is “raghbah.”
