Why is this being a jerk and worth a warning? He said that he found the title of the thread funny. What’s wrong with that? It looks to me like a compliment to the OP.
He racked up several warnings in a small number of posts. Banning was probably going to come sooner or later. But I don’t see why this post should give him the push.
It also needs to be said that one of the warnings linked to in the announcement is actually only a mod note.

As for that last from BeenJammin? I viewed it a bit more negatively. To me, it came across as an effort to demean and derail the thread. Given his track record - he’d received five warnings, some notes and a suspension over his 14 months here - I think my interpretation is the right one.
It quite obviously not a compliment. It was a threadshit at the very least, indicating he thought the subject too stupid for him to even read it.

Guy with a similar name who joined after beenjammin was banned and not a lot else. Mods can investigate, I guess.

Investigation suggests the similarity is coincidental, and the poster and posts have been restored.

Coincidences do happen, but this one seems profoundly unlikely. Even if it’s not a direct sock of the original poster, it could be someone else’s sock in order to play some dumb troll/sock game.
If you think you have better information than we do, please send it to me by PM. As I said, we investigated the matter.
