About a year ago I got an email about a class action law suit involving optical drives installed in computers. I looked it up and it seemed legit so I replied. I’ve never heard from them since then. Should I have gotten some money from this? Since I haven’t, is there someone I can contact?
When did you buy your drive? It’s probably this one. The case has settled, but the court has not yet approved the settlement (required for class actions). It looks like the settlement involves an actual cash payout, which is nice. You have until July 1 to submit your claim if you haven’t already.
