We know what term was used but not the context (ETA: by which I mean the way the term was used in his post, not the situation leading up to it). I don’t know if that made a difference or not. I think the message is, the insult was there and was there long enough that it could have been seen and caused offense to someone, regardless of who did actually see it.
Don’t be silly - of course it’s possible to criticise while still participating. But that’s not the case with you. You seem so uhappy here, and you’re the butt of so many jokes, that it just doesn’t make sense for you to stick around. That chip on your shoulder seems to affect you so deeply – just look at your posts in this thread. It’s clear that something is going on and it doesn’t really seem healthy.
Tell you what. If you stop telling me what I think or what the motives are behind my posts, I won’t tell you where to stuff your wild-assed amateur psychoanalysis. Deal? There are times when thread title changes and thread closures look like overreactions to some people. On a board of thousands you’re almost always going to find some people to complain about an action, so I’m not particularly worried about it. But, I’m also not going to say that his previous warnings had anything to do with his suspension when, in fact, they did not.
You do know that this post pretty much validates everything I said, right?
That’s very sweet, but if you’ve been around for as long as I have then you’ll know that there is in fact a huge chip on QED’s shoulder and there’s a reason for it. Want a hint? He’s been trying to be a mod for years and they won’t let him, for very good reasons (see all his posts above).
