Question about installing MS Office Professional for Windows 95

I have Microsoft Office Professional (Version 7.0) & Bookshelf “Designed for Windows 95” on 2 CDs. It is an upgrade edition, but the CD booklet does not specify what the existing “qualifying” software is that needs to be already resident on the PC in order to install this upgrade package. Does anyone know?

It’s usually pretty much any previous MS office-related product (including standalone apps like Word for Windows, perhaps even Word for DOS, not just office suites) and sometimes, a range of competitors’ products too.

You don’t have to have the qualifying product actually installed either - you can usually just present the installer with the install medium of the qualifying product.

Here is what appears to be the definitive list.
