Question about space travel/light speed.

Light speed?

186,000 miles per second? What do I win?

You win a carton of magnetic monopoles. For safety reasons, we can’t ship them to you; you’ll have to come to Epsilon Puppis to pick them up.

300,000 km/sec - not just a good idea, it’s THE LAW.

Better than Heavy Speed. That stuff’s murder on the veins.

That’s only what we’ve observed inside the hollow earth we live in. Light speed on the outside is anybody’s guess.

Light speed is too slow, we’re going to have to go straight to *ludicrous speed. *

In the LORAN bidness, we used 6.182 usec/nautical mile.

For those who want to taper off of crystal meth. It’s only 60% as addictive and slows the rate of tooth loss to 45% that of regular.

This thread is going straight to plaid in 3, 2, 1.

This.

Appears great on paper but is puny compared to the distances out there. A billion years at light speed gets you about 2% across the Universe. Pathetic.
