Does anyone know if there is any benefit from using Raspppoe over the sympatico access manager?
If there is, what if anything must be done to gain these benefits?
I don’t have Bell Sympatico but if your talking about is what I think your talking about the advantage is not having another piece of software sitting on your computer talking up storage and memory. At places where I use DSL I put all the login info into my router and let it worry about connecting/reconnecting. One less thing for my computer to screw up.
I agree with Joey P, although I don’t know for sure if that’s what you’re asking…
The sympatico access manager is an all purpose tool for newbs to connect to the internet, assuming no knowledge of how to go about it ,and what you can find on the net.
If its the software that I think you are talking about , then the raspppoe would be the less bloated of the two.
