I havn’t seen this doing a google search. Completely unrelated to my other thread but can I get a wireless router to talk to another router (wifi DSL) wirelessly of do they have to be hardwired?
If your firmware has the capability, you could set it up as a wireless repeater.
DD-WRT also supports wifi for the WAN connection: http://www.dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php/Client_Mode_Wireless, other firmware may have this feature as well.
It might be called “client bridge”… But bridge means to make one LAN, as if it were wired with switches… While a wireless router MAY be expected to provide security, eg due to NAT as a firewall technique, so that makes a new LAN and its definitely a router in between. …So its called client mode… or wireless for WAN.
