Is there any way to get rid of an “indefinite suspension”? I won an auction from some guy, and even though I don’t recall him emailing me even once, he’s reported me as a NPB. I’ve emailed this guy asking for his address, but to no avail. I be fine if he just gave me a negative, it’d only be my first. I just want to get my eBay back.
John Kimble:
You’re only supposed to get an indefinite suspension for NPB for your THIRD offense.

You can talk to people on ebay in their community messageboards.
That link I gave also talks about a NPB appeal form for bidders like you.
Is your contact info correct? If your seller tried to contact you and your contact info isn’t valid eBay will suspend you.
Contact eBay and ask for the reason for your suspension…however if you were a NPB 3 times or reached -4 in feedback, you’re done.
Of course you could always open a new account.
Well, I sent out the appeal form, which will hopefully do some good. As for negatives, I have zero right now. But I’ve received 4 NPB warnings(I’ve tried to contact this guy more than once). So does that really mean my account is done? And I’m not sure if I could get a new account, being that eBay said this to me in an email:
“While this suspension is active, please be advised that you are prohibited from using our system in any way, which includes registering under a new account name or using another account. It is important to note that if an attempt is made to re-register and use the system, it may result in the permanent suspension of your eBay account(s), which will not allow for a future reinstatement.”
And I’m pretty sure my contact info is correct, no other sellers have had trouble contacting me.
I use Hot mail for my Ebay account and some times I get Ebay questions and replys in my junk mail folder. sometimes sellers only accept paypal and all the payment info is listed with the item to sell, especially the big sellers who seldom answer email.
