We tried that in 2016. If Clinton had won, I wouldn’t be surprised if there were only six justices sitting on the Supreme Court today. Democrats need to win more than just the presidency.
And the lower courts would be at less than half strength as well.
I meant they are my party for the moment, not that I am fed up with them in this moment. Sorry for the lack of clarity. I do think many members of the party are a lost cause, but I also believe a good deal of the party will change their tune once Trump and his cronies have been tossed out on their ears. Many of them seem to be mindless sheep who only repeat whatever they heard “the leader” say like these people for instance.
