I’m not insulted, and my position is not that I don’t understand, but rather that your posts often aren’t capable of being understood. That’s because you express yourself badly.
You may be talking rubbish or you may be creating an earth-shattering work of genius which will change the world. As long as you write thousand-word posts which use words in a way that only you could understand, noone will know which is true.
kidchameleon You might want to study up on the word “ohm” a little. When people talk about “In the Beginning there was the Word”, the Hindus believe that word was “Ohm”, and from that word was created all other words. I don’t understand it well enough to explain it better, especially considering I confuse the hell out of you when I DO understand the concept better.
Just had to chime in after reading through this thread and others - I’m an educational psychologist turned career counsellor and studied with, and am friends with clinical psychologists. I get the impression that the good dr mark is a non-practising psychologist, probably stuck in academia for the duration. I can’t imagine that with his attitude he works closely with the myriad of clients the average clinical psychologist works with, particularly when excellent and flexible communication skills are a necessity. Rest assured, the clinical psychologists I know, do not behave with such intellectual superiority.
