Say I’m the owner of Acme Company (I’m not) and I own a web site at www.acme.com. I also own the domain names www.acmecompany.com, www.acme-company.com, and www.acme.biz. The last three are all set up so that if someone types one of them into a browser, they automatically open the page at www.acme.com.
Is there a name for this setup, or for these “secondary” DNs? I thought “hotlink” might be right, but I’m not sure.
