Quick question about Battleship Potemkin

When the baby carriage goes down the steps, the mother got shot but is the baby OK?
(yes I need the answer fast)

Thanks

In the time in took for you to get an answer to this, you could have gone on Youtube to see the answer for yourself: Battleship Potemkin | The Odessa Steps Scene - YouTube

The baby was still alive the last time it was shown.

Not all of us can watch YouTube at work.

You’re welcome.

I remember watching this on my swanky HD TV and soundsystem (yeah fairly pointless) a couple of years ago and being struck with the realisation that everyone onscreen, including probably the baby in its carraige, were most likely all dead…given that it was released in 1925. :\

I always assumed that the baby was killed. As shown in the youtube clip linked above, the carriage is last seen on the verge of flipping completely over. Between that and the panic all around, it’s hard to imagine the child’s survival. Plus, Andy Garcia wasn’t there.

Barney Rubble, neither.

Or OJ Simpson

In the rest of the film, is the fate of the baby shown?

He grows up to be Yeltsin.

That’s why I phrased my answer as I did. We don’t actually see a dead baby, though.
