Quick! Recommend me a computer game!

Coming back to recommend The Longest Journey, and its sequel Dreamfall. I also second Darkfall. You might likeNecronomicon, and Undying as well. (Here is an Undying fansite.)

As to The Longest Journey let me just say that a big problem with adventure games is that by their nature if they last long enough to justify the money you spent on them, it’s because they’re frustratingly insoluable. There are really only a handful of events and descriptions in any given adventure game, so it’s hard to feel like you’re getting your money’s worth. But I paid $30 for The Longest Journey, and I never stopped being amazed at how well that investment paid off. I’d say it was one of the best adventure games ever made, and believe me that’s taking into account that it’s no Monkey Island.

The original SimGolf or the one that borrows from The Sims?

Happily seconded by a guy looking forward to Dreamfall.

Sid Meiers Simgolf, which I believe is the one that borrows from the Sims. Oddly enough, I bought the Sims a couple of years ago, but just couldn’t get into it.
