Does a vast array of LEDs from all over the spectrum on A/V equipment count? cause that’s about all I can leave on and still get to sleep.
I guess your question’s pretty much been answered by now, but I live in an Asian dominated area of East London and the reply to any non Hindu,Sikh or Jain saying it would probably “Thanks! You too” or something along those lines. If the person’s Muslim you’ll probably get a non-commital reply or a gentle correction I cannot think of the slightest scenario in which someone would be offended.
Obviously these guy’s hang around with much touchier people than me.
:faintly envious about the London part:
But not the East eh,
Is there a difference? I have only been to Heathrow.
Hey, I presume you’re *not *indian? But you’re called Sri? You must spend a lot of time around desis.
Yeah I am, (I’m sure I commented on one of those ask the Hindu threads…) more specifically I’m Tamil hence the Sri.
East London is generally the poorer part of London, (it’s not that clear cut but we’ll let that lie for now) and I was there earlier on today- the fireworks coming from everywhere were pretty cool, it’s pretty much equal to Bonfire night round there.
67 posts! You *could *post a little more, you know! What are you saving them for?
One day I shall tour London. This I swear.
Ow, my head. Anyone else over-do the Diwali celebrating last night?
I ate a little too much. Seriously, I ate miniscule amounts of rice, saag, and masala, but the soup, naan, and samosa were pretty filling. That’s a lot of starch!
