I thought I’d share this YouTube video from one of the futurist sites I subscribe to (Isaac Arthur’s). Basically, it’s a video that talks about the small things that will so change our society and civilization in the future, similar to the vast changes from little things that have changed our today from what things were like even 20 or 30 years ago. This is a debate I’ve seen on this board a lot, in fact there was a thread on this subject not too long ago in GD, so figured I’d share this as it does a good job of showing the changes and how, down the road people won’t even notice them, yet they will make the world profoundly different than it is today. It’s a longish video and he has a speech impediment, so if you don’t like long videos or can’t understand someone who speaks with an impediment it’s probably not for you. If not, enjoy…I did.
