Quiz: What government type are you?

I got Fascism! And I think, as much as I like to deny this, my friends would agree with this…Oops, I guess.

Nationalism.

The matrix of numbers wouldn’t copy/paste and the window vanished when I tried to key it into word.

Republic

How does this work? It doesn’t make any sense at all!

Well, at least glance through that huge list I made a few posts up.

Libertarians are people who think that large government is a monumentally Bad Idea and want to see more individual choice and responsibility on all levels. Libertarians generally favor the option that allows the individual to choose for himself.

A few hotbuttons:
[ul]
[li]Abortion: Pro-choice. Even religious Libertarians (I happen to be atheist, actually) generally don’t want the government imposing any kind of `morality’ on reproductive health.[/li][li]Guns: Anti-gun control. Guns are a tool like anything else, and responsible people occasionally need to defend themselves from criminals. Libertarians are compatible with the NRA on this issue (I know I am).[/li][li]Cloning: Against governmental restrictions on it. If some group creates a human clone, that person would have all of the rights, freedoms, and responsibilities of anyone else. Slavery is not permissable.[/li][li]The draft: Anti-conscription. The draft is the enslavement of the draftee, and is reminisicent of the Monarchies of the Feudal Age, who raised armies of unwilling peasants to fight bloody, meaningless wars.[/li][li]War on Drugs: Against Prohibition in any form. A responsible person can take what he wants and be responsible for his actions while on it. There should be severe punishments for being dangerously intoxicated (while driving, for example).[/li][li]Economics: Free trade. Lassiez-faire Capitalism is the idea that an unrestricted marketplace can make its own decisions much better than a fettered one, and it is the idea held by Libertarians.[/li][/ul]That’s more or less off-the-cuff, but in broad strokes I’ve painted the picture.

Libertarianism is a revival of 18th Century Liberalism, the philosophy of Thomas Jefferson and one of the major guiding forces behind our Constitution and the Bill of Rights.

I just got numbers, no type.

10 9 7

Phoenix

What? Martial Law?!?!?!?

Numbers:
2 2 3
6 7 13

Sorry to say, mon, but this seems a tad inaccurate. It puts Anarchy () and Marxism () above Republic, Democracy, and Capitalism.

Oh well. Apparently, I’m a Military Marxist.

Also, apparently, my military leadership is bad at coding, too.

Socialism. Which is fair enough in my book. Power to the people!

Oh, yeah, the numbers -

3 0 3
13 2 11

I answered the test as honestly as I possibly could and got Republic. Which is actually sort of close to my personally preferred government. That worked pretty well.

Democracy
2 2 2
10 6 10
I thought I’d get something a little more sinister and interesting than democracy. My first reaction was surprise and then the thought, “Well that’s kinda corny.”
I liked the listing of “compatible types” - made the last page look like a dating sevice for governments.
Good luck.

Your Government Type Is

Republic

          2 2 2
          6 10 10

Republic
2 2 2
8 9 9 (yeah, what do the numbers mean?)

But I took it about 10 minutes ago, and not only were the questions in a different order, but I was a Democracy. Also, the Incompatible government types don’t show for me. All in all however, I believe both results to be pretty indicative of my personality.

Fascism
(3,2,2)
(12,6,8)

Best Compatible Government Types
Despotism, Theocracy

Good Compatible Government Types
Bureaucracy, Plutocracy
Feudalism, Monarchy
Imperialism, Republic, Democracy

Mildly Incompatible Government Types
Capitalism, Nationalism, Libertatianism
Martial Law, Anarchy, Marxism

Totally Incompatible Government Types
Communism, Socialism

I don’t really see how my vacation preference factors into any of this…

Capitalism is an economic system!

Feudalism was a form of monarchy.

Bureaucracy is common to all.

Fascism was a form of socialism.

Nationalism is not a government type.

Imperialism is not a government type.

And you left out my favorite, kleptocracy.

What’s up with this test?

Didn’t see Darleth’s first post. I would disagree with some details. Not all monarchies were some form of theocracy. Other forms of governement preceeded the Age of Reason. Athens was a democracy, Rome a republic, then a benign dictatorship, and not theocracy until sometime around 200 AD. Plenty of tribal governments are/were not theocracies.

But what’s up?

Let’s see.

I am a republic who is compatible with imperialism and democracy.

I guess I’m incompatible with everything else.

My numbers are 2, 2, 2, 8, 10, and 8.

I’m a libertarian police state or a benevolent dictatorship. Nation States is how I know, or knew because my nation was deleted for inactivity.

Unabashed Libertarian!

The American government has far too many laws, rules and regulations that overlap each other. This has happened to the point of comic absurdity. (Note the Georgia bill on requiring restaurants to serve “sweet” tea, or the stupid anti smoking laws in lounges and bars)

America has a slow fat bloated monster of a beuracratic government. We need a strong libertarian minded leader to cut most of the fat in our government and work on an American first policy. Libertarians are also against the war in Iraq because it is aggressive in nature, it serves no purpose, and costs too much money.
