It’s not their responsibility to be brave, I agree. The problem is, it seems to be the wingnuts who are active on this, so corporations seeing the bottom line bow down to their wishes. The only way to stop them, to instill a backbone in them, is to make it more expensive for them to pander to the whack-jobs than it is to ignore them. So drop an email to Dunkin’ Donuts informing them that as a result of their idiotic actions in pulling this ad, you will no longer frequent their stores.
Both of these women are attractive, but their shrillness would drive me crazy. They’d have to be silenced before I’d do them…oh, who am I kidding. I’d take them as a tag team and put up with it for half an hour.
You couldn’t tell the difference. Lots of the google images of Malkin are photoshopped - her head on someone else’s body.
Malkin may have received her “love” of Japanese people from her parents. My in-laws are Filipinos who survived the WWII Japanese occupation, and they despise anything Japanese (including sushi). That Japanese culture is popular with younger Filipinos, both in the Philippines and with many Filipino-Americans (including my daughter) is very wrong, in their view.
Or Malkin could just be a shrill harpy, playing a role to earn a living (or not playing a role - who knows?). Still, I’ve seen some of the visitor comments on her blog, and the racist and sexist vitriol there makes her look tame in comparison.

This hole thing stinks. Accusing Rachel Ray of endorsing terroism is one of the crueller things I have heard. Michelle Malkin sprinkles her paranoia all over the place, it just makes my eyes glaze over.
I’m sure millions of Britney Spears fans would beg to differ. (You don’t think she sold all those albums on her musical talent, do you?)

In Ray’s recent “40 dollars a Day” episode, she said “…now add some EVOO, that’s Extreme Vengeance on Occidentals…”. That’s what has Malkin all in a huff.
All I care about is, it’s one less god-awful Rachel Ray commercial on the air. What happened to those funny DD commercials with the songs by They Might Be Giants? I liked those, and they didn’t make my ears bleed.
