Racist Highschool students piss me off

It amazes me how fucking racist people in my school are. I’m not just making allegations and judgments. There are people who will openly admit to being a racist. I was going off to this girl I had known for awhile about how this one guy was an asshole for being pissed that some other girl had dated a black guy. I said, “Racists are assholes.” Her responce: “I’m racist, you don’t like me?” But what really pisses me off is not that they are ignorant assholes, but that they expect me to be one too. When I don’t agree with them, they are shocked. It’s not just a small percentage. I would say that at least 25% of people openly use racial slurs.

Another person said to me, “I would never date a black guy because they are all assholes who beat women and cheat on their girlfriends. The only thing they do is sit around and bitch about slavery all the time.”

The one that really made me laugh though was when some one said to me, “I can’t stand black people. They are so fucking ignorant.” I responded, “Did you hear what you just said? You make the fucking racial remark, and you are calling them racist?”

It’s such commonplace to hear racist remarks that I’ve almost given up responding or arguing with them. I just get so tired of hearing them every goddam day.

I completely agree. Except, at my school, it’s usually the other way around. Don’t get me wrong, we have our share of white kids talking about black kids, but they’re really careful about it, because if you’re not, you get your butt kicked BAD. It’s usually the other way around, though, with a lot of black people thinking that they are better than everyone else and stuff like that.

Also (slight hijack), one thing I CAN’T STAND is the use of the N-word by ANYONE. That includes black people who are using it to refer to their friends. That ticks me off to no end. I hear it at least eighty times a day. GRRR. . .

Take some solace in the fact that a sizable amount of these kids will grow up and change their opinions.

And most the ones that don’t will wind up with a career in used tire sales or waffle house service. :slight_smile:

Or they’ll end up working where I work (and no, I don’t sell used tires; unfortunately, some racist jack-offs have decent jobs). I hear that crap every day in one form or another. The people that really get to me are the ones that are friendly and buddy-buddy with the black people in my shop and then say the most vile things about them when it’s just “us whites” around. The funny thing is, I’m not white; I’m half-white, half-Japanese. I guess they figure that’s close enough for membership in the club. They seem to think that since I’m not black I’ll automatically agree with what they say. Instead, their comments make me wonder what they say about me when I’m not around.

Oh, yeah.

I’m at a high school for gifted and talented kids. I thought coming here would get me away from racism. (Sample from my home school: “Chinese women are all fugly”–Bodie Bender)

But no. I’m sitting in Linguistics class, taught by my Chinese prof, who is ethnic Chinese as well. The dickhead who sits behind me is talking to a Chinese kid named Fei. They’re both on the Cross Country team.

Asshole: “Jeez, Fei, why are you do so much better in this class than me? What, do you go to her office and talk to her in Chinese or something?”

Fei: “Yeah. Yeah, that’s what I do.” Maybe Dickhead thinks that Asians are ‘inscrutable’, so he can’t read Fei’s face, but Fei looks pretty pissed off to me.

Asshole: “Hey, did Bill try his new Chinese on you?”

Fei: brittle smile “Yeah, he did.” Then, in an undertone Fuckwit doesn’t hear:
[sub][sup]“If he does it again I’ll punch him in the mouth.”[/sup][/sub]

Meanwhile, the prof comes in.

Laoshi(teacher): “What did you say about Chinese?”

Here’s where Asshole wins his moron wings.

Asshole: “Oh, see, some of us in Cross Country yell at Fei in Chinese during practice… well, not real Chinese, just sort of <sample of his idea of what Chinese sounds like>… we don’t know any real Chinese… See, All those Asian languages- Chinese, Japanese, Korean- sound the same to us English speakers.”

Yes, he really said that.

Laoshi: icy voice of death “I bet they all look the same too.”

He may have beaten the SATs, he may have beaten the classes, but he couldn’t beat his own mouth. A moron will always out himself, given enough time.

Whenever someone gets into any “racist-talk” with me, I simply whip out my senior-year Homecoming and Vice-Versa dance photos, showing me with (very attractive) girls who happen to have darker skin pigmentation. Usually shuts 'em up. :smiley:

It’s kind of ironic…I never heard any comments in high school like the ones mentioned here, but I grew up in frozen mid-west farm country and had no non-white classmates until my senior year of high school, a place one would expect to hear such comments. It’s also odd that I didn’t realize how racist my parents were until several years after high school when I was out on my own.

When I was in high school, only about half of the students there were white. I didn’t hear ONE racial slur the whole time I was there. Go figure.

I totally agree. Those ignorant fucks can go piss on their legs. Though, about the title of this thread, Racist Highschool students piss me off; you can’t limit your rant about racism to just highschool students. Really it should be about everyone. 'Cause for a second there, I though you really didn’t care about adult racism.
