After last weekend’s night of no sleep, it took me til Wed to get back on track. Thurs night I went to see Monty Python (almost live) & then Fri before dawn it was off to the festival.

No matter. The house has been vacuumed. Ziva sheds a lot. How one little cat can produce so much hair and not be bald is beyond my comprehension…

Howdy from da cave! I made it back. No rain yet. Dindin is actually ready as I made it yestiddy. Pot roast with little carrots and N.O.T. Green beans as the green (duh!) veggie and I have some frozen rolls that will bake whilst everything gets warmed up. Go Me!
Shoe seein’ snake made me go all :eek: but seein’ as you actually meant to have a snake in your bosom, then that’s ok. 
Also, I see we have a “new guy.” Go You!
I’m just sure no one could ever guess my accent.

After all the H.P. Lovecraft and Stephen King I’ve read, Drae, roomie, and the pup were likely devoured by some sort of Eldritch horror, possibly a relative of Flytrap.:eek::(
Shoe, my Older Sister had a pet ball python once. It lasted until she realized the rat she was about to feed the snake was cuter and had more personality. I could have told her that. I ended up with that rat, too. Her name was Ratrat.
I got things accomplished today! I went to the library, :eek:washed my car:eek:, :eek::eek:detailed my car:eek::eek:, and set up the second worm bin so the worms will move down to that one so I can empty the top one. I’m trying an experiment with the second bin. Half of the paper in it is shredded newspaper and the other half is shredded The Life of Samuel Johnson. (It was in a condition too bad to ever leave the house in anything other than a trash bag). And then I took a walk.
I feel perfectly justified in the amount of goofing off I’ve also done today.

Dindin has been ingested. I got asked what I want for my birthday dindin. I suggested to OYKW that he swipe The General’s dindin and spend the night tomorrow night. Sounds like a good bday deal to me!
Also, we are in the midst of a frawg strangler. Biiiiiiiig rain. Biiiiiiiig lightning. I tried to use that as a reason for OYKW to stay tonight as well. However, he has paperirk to deal with this evenin’, poor thing.
So, when Mumpers: The Movie is made, we’re all agreed flytrap will be played by Larry The Cable Guy.
Aw, you got any pics, Shoe? I like ball pythons (aka royal pythons in England, as we’re having a language lesson). We had several for handling at the zoo- still do, in fact, and I used to play with them all the time as a kid. Definitely what I’d get if I was going to get a snake.
I’m not sure what I should be doing- I’m still absolutely knackered, and I’m supposed to be switching rooms before my other housemate gets back- however, I’m far too tired to really do much useful, and I just want to go to bed. I’ve actually not seen anyone else in the house bar the cats since I got in, so I’m a little worried that if I do just go to bed I’ll get woken up by the landlord trying to sort out the mold 'cos he either doesn’t know I’m back or thinks I’m in the other room.
I think I’m tired enough to not care though. I think I shall more a few things to show willing, then just pass out.
