Radio hosts you miss

I am going to sorely miss **Jerry Trupiano ** from the Red Sox radio broadcasts. I’ve been listening to him and **Joe Castiglione ** for the length of my time as a Red Sox fan. Now that the Sox will be broadcast on WRKO rather than WEEI (really the same station anyways), they decided not to renew his contract.

I also miss Arthur Black. The quirkiness of his Saturday morning show was very appealing to me. You never knew quite who he might be interviewing because it could be nearly anybody.

How could I forget Arthur? I loved “Basic Black”. It was one of the things that made Saturdays so special. They’re still my favourite day of the week, but a little less bright without being able to get Basic Black at 10:00 AM.
