Raising kids without religion - good, bad, indifferent?

I was raised without any religion. In fact, I was never baptized. I believe in a “god” or supreme being of some sort, but that’s about it. My brother is an atheist.

I married a catholic girl. I guess, as a result, she’s going to hell. Don’t tell anyone, but we had pre-marital relations and she has never repented.

My wife and I have worked out a deal. When the boys (age 4 and 1) are old enough, they’ll go to church every other weekend with her. She has joined a local congregational church as they are more tolerant. We’ll try and expose them to everything.

Bottom line, be a good person, do good things, help others when they need it. The rest will take care of itself.

Don’t forget about karma, either.
