1. I was reading the boards on and off for about a year before I finally bothered to sign up.

2. Regardless, you’ve made lots of posts. It doesn’t take long to realise how numbingly repetitive they are.

But it strange that this case is of the 5% then since I did not say anything about bigotry, only the boring robotic mathematical pattern of the shodan in the atb. perhaps you can join him in the mathematically predictable responding to subjects.

1. Even if the posts Shodan linked to were brilliant, even if they were masterful multidisciplinary deconstructions of the matter at hand with multiple footnotes which laid out a workable roadmap to world peace, cured cancer, solved the Riemann hypothesis, reversed climate change, fixed global hunger and ended with a bonus slow-motion money shot, it wouldn’t change the fact that the rest of your posts are stupefying, boilerplate ad-hominems which don’t even have the saving grace of being inventive.

2. The Shodan? Is that like The Donald? You don’t need to put the word ‘the’ before every pronoun.

Why is this so hard to get through your heads? You can criticise Islam as a bad religion without condemning all Muslims as bad people. Saying otherwise is a bit like saying you can’t hate cancer without hating cancer patients.

It’s worth pointing out that by far and away the biggest victims of the bad ideas in Islam are Muslims themselves. I don’t think they’re dumb or evil. I think that a significant number of them (some, not all) were raised with bad ideas and are acting accordingly. The solution to this is to aggressively debunk the bad ideas.

I am merely arguing that the bad behaviour of Islamic extremists is down to the extremist beliefs that they hold.

And many more besides.

As much as A’isha would like you all to believe that I’m a kill-'em-all-and-let-God-sort-'em-out style White Supremacist who only found out about Islam on The O’Reilly Factor and just wants to give all those horrible darkies a damn good thrashing, the truth is that I’m simply arguing there are certain prominent ideas in Islamic scripture which, if sincerely believed, can act as catalysts for bad behaviour. And you know what? My remedy for this problem is simple:

Once the link between bad beliefs and bad behaviour has been acknowledged, use the power of conversation to debunk, delegitimise, and ridicule those beliefs.

There’s not really much more we can do. Still, it worked for Christianity. It could easily work for Islam.

If that’s what a bigot looks like, then pretty much everyone could easily be classed as a bigot against one group or another.
