Rams football is back, baybee!

You said you were tired of hearing how shitty LA fans were. I was asking if some of the evidence, given as proof, that said fans were indeed shitty was accurate.

Bullshit. That’s belied by the fact that you asked if they were false rather than if they were true. You asked me to prove a negative.

As for me, I haven’t seen it, but I only went to two Raider games, at the end of the 1993 season. That was the year they beat the Broncos in OT to get into the playoffs and then beat them again the very next week (at home) to go to Buffalo in the divisional round, where they got their asses handed to them. Jeff Hostetler brought them back from a 17-point deficit to win the first game, and no one got up and left at either game, not surprisingly. I got up and stood in a tunnel watching to see if they made the FG in OT before I ran my ass off to the ticket kiosk to buy the next week’s playoff tickets. And I got 'em, third in line.

Btw, that first game sure looked packed to me, but it’s only listed at just under 67K attendance.

Wasn’t ragging on your teams at all, man. Don’t live there, but also don’t have any negative vibes towards LA fans of any type. Was just adding a little factual conversation about attendance numbers across all NFL cities. All NFL teams report sold, not attended. By the way, MLB and NBA does the same thing.

Although I am not an NFL fan, I do know that LA has been screwed over by the league a few times. Hope this time it works out.

No you’re right.
Is it true that LA has shitty fans?

I’m happy that a football fan, as yourself, has a team back in their market to root for. The whole process of lies from the owner and the NFL has left a bad taste in my mouth, and reminds me why I prefer college ball.

It’s too bad they didn’t take this occasion to change their uniforms back to the ones I grew up on, the ones featuring blue and bright yellow. Their current unis are just so damn dingy.
