I’m continually amazed that people who are shocked and disgusted when someone uses force or violence to steal somebody’s money are much more understanding if you outsmart your victim. If they are our people, we protect them, if they are not our people, who’s people are they?

Absolutely. But (and I’ve made this point a zillion times), that’s not due to hypocrisy, that’s due to basic human nature. And I agree that that DNC mailing was worthy of a pit thread. But I didn’t start one. Why, because I’m a hypocrite? No, because I had never heard of it. And even if I had, would I have started a pit thread? Well, maybe. Depends on how busy I was at the moment, how near my PC, what my mood was, etc, etc, etc.
