True to the runner’s word, the center of the Prime Village was the sight of a great feast indeed. All those who lived in the village gathered around to pick from the carcass of the san-chera that had been brought down. Me-Larr noted with satisfaction that the hunters had done so with a minimum of damage—the beast died quickly and with no great loss of edible material. It was a fine hunt.
