1a. MLB
1b. NHL
My two main sports aside from the Premier League these days. I’m pretty active in the monthly threads for both sports.
NFL. I don’t follow it like I used to, mainly for fantasy purposes these days. The Bears have been entertaining this year and my good friend is a Redskins fan, so I’ll pay attention to those teams . It’s pretty rare to see an Arizona Cardinals game in Chicago so it’s been hard to keep up with them since I moved.
NBA. Just don’t care anymore. Too many other things on. I’ll watch it in a sports bar, but I’m sick of Lebron hype.
In the NFL I watch the Superbowl, and regular season or playoff games when the Giants are doing well (which means I haven’t watched any for a while now.;))
I’ve got very little interest in the NHA and NBA, but have watched them when NY teams have been doing well, which means almost never in the past few decades.
College football is the only sport I follow very closely.
NBA - I enjoy watching basketball, I just don’t have time to watch it much. I grew up in Central Florida and went to lots of Orlando Magic games growing up.
NFL - I turn on the NFL if I want to get a nap on Sunday afternoons. I only put it at #2 because I pretty much always watch the Super Bowl, and follow the playoffs sometimes.
MLB - I’ll watch a World Series game every now and then. Other than that, nothing.
NHL - I’ve probably watched 15 minutes of NHL hockey in my lifetime.
I think of this in these terms: Which sport would I be most likely to sit down and watch a regular season game between two teams in which I don’t have a rooting interest. So it probably comes down like this.
1 - NFL, I won’t watch a dog match-up, didn’t turn on MNF last night for instance, but if it’s a Ravens/Bengals game or something like that I’ll watch.
2 - NHL, I’ll watch parts of games during the regular season but I get glued to the playoffs. I’d go to pretty much any game if I happen to be in town for something else and there are tickets available, even for crap teams.
3 - MLB, I’ll watch the Cubs pretty much exclusively with maybe an inning or two of another game here or there. Again, I’d go to just about any game if I happen to be in town when it’s happening.
4 - NBA, haven’t actually watched a game in 20+ years.
1 ECW I love me some no rules garbage style wrestling
2 wccw/uswa southern wrestling was goofy but fun
3 wwf/e I was a kid in the 80s and 90s ……
4 wcw it was always on and the NWO was cool for the first month ….
MLB - Baseball is the greatest sport there is, in my opinion, and it’s the only sport in which I have really strong feelings about teams that aren’t “my team”
NHL - I was never a hockey fan until the Sharks came into being. Now it’s the best part about the winter.
NBA - I’m a Kings fan, so that doesn’t really help.
NFL - When I was a kid, football was the undisputed king. Nowadays, I’ll check the scores to see how the Steelers are doing, but that’s about it. Super Bowl Sunday is board games and commercials, with a game on in the background.
