Rantings about stupid nuclear reporting, and I want to bitchslap somebody, also other crap

I usually ignore troll posts, which makes trolls think that I’m not interested in a conversation with them.

You would be correct.

Which is a lie. Your first post in the thread you avoided a conversation.

And then went on to preach YOUR point of view. Which is really fucking funny, since that is what you try to accuse me of doing.

When you are the one doing it.

Anytime somebody actually tried to converse here I responded in kind. But please, don’t stop preaching and insulting other people. The irony is hilarious.

To the extent that i’m responding to this thread, it’s only for the people who might actually be interested in participating in rational discussion on the issue. That’s why i’m ignoring FXTroll’s posts.

Pretty much. Like I told him, he’s not my target audience, since he is, after all, quite stupid…and, as you’ve pointed out a troll to boot. Such that I still bother with any of these threads it’s just to do the work that these clowns refuse to do, which is to actually read the fucking articles they link to in their drive by posts and quote some of the relevant material. That it generally makes them look bad…well, that’s just a bonus.

A lie.

I also don’t bother to defend against idiots who make up crap. Waste of time.

I’ve decided that i’m going to let him do that. This will be my last post to this thread. If i come across interesting information on the Japanese situation that i think merits further discussion, i might start an MPSIMS or even a GD thread on the issue.

But responding to this thread, even if it’s not directly to the douchebag OP, only serves to encourage his idiocy. If we leave him to post all by himself, at least that will serve to eliminate the pleasure he obviously takes in baiting and trolling.

See you all later.

Bullshit. Making up something to try and get a response is what trolls do. Like you.

That I (usually) refuse to feed trolls is the opposite of trolling. It means I don’t CARE what some idiot says. Now if you ever post links to pictures, reports, data, anything worth responding to, that is another issue.

See? When somebody at least TRIED to engage in a scientific discussion, I responded right away, and pointed out what was wrong with it. I didn’t ignore it. In fact, I escalated the entire point.

That I was correct, that point of course was ignored by the apologists, who want to make it all about me, rather than the crisis going on.

Good luck with that tactic.

Stupid media. Why can’t they simply understand that the nuclear disaster has nothing to do with anyone being killed. At least they aren’t talking about the six missing men who were not killed by the nuclear disaster either.

The important thing to stress is that nuclear power plants are safe and never kill anyone.

Why are you bumping your own thread with old news stories from March and April?

next up, nuclear scientists figure out radiation can hurt you. After discovering somebody was injured by radiation.

Then the internet experts inform us how they get more radiation from a banana and how everything is OK and nuclear power is safer than coal.

You really should take a moment to learn about the straw-man fallacy.

I think he lost his mind sometime before he even started the thread. Now he’s just trying to show more evidence of that.

If you can’t tell the difference between sarcasm and a strawman fallacy, well you are stupid.

No not you, you are quite smart, I’m talking to the other people, the ones that can’t tell the difference. They are idiots.

The same kind that think everytime you eat a banana you get more radioactive. The ones that can’t be bothered to crack a book or even try to find out if something is true before they repeat it like idiotbots on the internet.

Well, the important thing in all this is that the agency said it deeply regrets this. Try to ignore that this means nuclear material from inside a reactor was released BEFORE the first explosion in building one.

Looks like that worker who reported smoke and damage to reactor one right after the earthquake was simply telling the truth. And based on new data released from TEPCO, it seems reactor one melted down before the tsunami even hit.

New levels of radiation have been reached. I know to nuke fans, that does not matter. But I think some Japanese people will be unhappy to find out that things are getting worse.

I’m still wondering when my superpowers and/or Godzilla will be appearing after all this radiation. We’ve been promised doom for too long…I demand mutations right now…or at least three-eyed fish like in The Simpsons.

Just like the radiation deaths , the mutations take time. Then they will persist.
This is not like Chernobly, way out in the boonies. They can not fence this off for a century or two. Land is too precious in Japan.
Chernobyl area has lots of mutations.
