What a fucking surprise.
Huge wealthy company in bed with regulators, putting an entire country at risk with their bullshit. Nuclear moonbats, they are everywhere.

The area outside the reactor with a reading of over 10,000 mSv (the highest a Geiger counter can measure) is an example of just how dangerous nuclear power actually is. Yes, they build them to not blow up (a very very good thing), but clearly even when the pressure vessel remains, it’s a true disaster when things go wrong.
It’s impossible to imagine how bad it would get if one of the fuel ponds collapses, or burns.
This is because the spent fuel pond contains so much more material, and it’s almost all the really bad kind. Reactor three, with it’s high plutonium fuel, is a magnitude worse to have an accident with.
And of course it’s the one that blew the hell up, and to this day is a steaming pile of rubble, releasing radiation into the atmosphere at will.

Maybe half the rice crop in Japan can not be eaten due to radiation. That of course is good as the nuke fans will point out.
Especially if you own a rice farm in California.
Did you actually read the linked article?
Assuming the farmers actually DID test their soil before planting I seriously doubt if half the crop is going to be contaminated. Thus far, according to your own cite, they haven’t found any contamination, though they are planning to test more and more rigorously (as they should) to ensure contaminated rice doesn’t enter the food supply in any large quantities.

While the edits are appropriate, (what the fuck? No shit? etc) the stories combined are actually real stories from the media. Enjoy.
I agree, and the lack of real information about what and where in Japan is still startling. Thee levels of ignorance, deception and outright bullshit, as well as the denial and spin the nuclear shitbats continue to fling about, it illustrates how such fucked up shit could happen in the first place.
You check this forum, or almost every other “skeptic” or “rational” forum on the internet, and you will find zero discussions among the self proclaimed “smart logical people” about the ongoing crisis in Japan.
Zero. Not a thing. Nothing. Not just a slow thread, not some winding down thread, you will find no thread discussion at all.
Some self proclaimed smart people even think it’s all over, it’s done. This is ignorance at a level beyond imagining. Yet they can’t even hint that maybe they are misinformed, much less perhaps wrong.
Ignorance. it’s not just for dumb people.
Care to cite an example of someone saying that?
In exchange, I’ll happily provide a cite of someone talking complete fucking nonsense about the issue being completely out of control, etc.
Show me a single ongoing discussion here of the biggest nuclear disaster in history. Then I will be wrong, and you will have pwned me big time.
I would even stop posting.
This pit/rant topic doesn’t count of course.
21 pages of shit generated by a guy who has to type one handed but some great responses.
In other words, you have absolutely no examples to support your previous claim that “Some self proclaimed smart people even think it’s all over, it’s done.”
I found this recent article rather telling and par for the course as far as the Fukushima debacle is concerned:
The nuclear accident at Fukishima can be blamed primarily on the Japanese, not any fundamental safety hazards inherent in the system(s). They demonstrated willful ignorance and stupidity by failing to address many simple things that could have prevented or mitigated the disaster.
To whip the live horse once more:
While it certainly is true MOST countries bought the nuclear lie, it isn’t true that “I guarantee you will find the same level of stupid lies from every country”. In fact several countries acted to protect themselves from a nuclear nightmare, and Japan is also actually looking at the truth of things at this very moment. Heads have rolled. Reactors are shut down, inspections and efforts to simply PREVENT it from happening again are on the table.
Not the idiotic “everything is fine, nuclear is safe” bullshit that oozes from every pore of the fuckhead who actually believes 40 years if spent fuel rods on top of an old working reactor is no big deal.
Nonsense. The nuclear reactor is by it’s very nature an extremely dangerous beast. The 54 reactors of the exact same design running in the US also have the same fatal flaws. And the spent fuel pools right next to them.
The article cited in my previous post is the closest you will come to anything in this fiasco that could be legitimately described as “stupid nuclear reporting.”
All the rest is as you say, “nonsense.”
The problems/huge fuck up with the SPEEDI system and the idiots in charge is old news. I guess the western media just now decided to run the story.
I would express surprise that you’re now arguing with yourself, but frankly it fits pretty well.

I’m just trying to tell whether Version 1 or Version 2 of FXMastermind is more stupid.
