When Jordan was in the White Sox camp in 1993, it was reported that he had the SECOND highest vertical lift in camp, during spring training workouts. It was never reported who was # one. (At least I didn’t see who it was). On the Giant -Dodger game last night Scully reported Ray Durham was the guy who could jump higher than Jordan.
It took 10 years, now I know.
Woot.
Nah, seriously, good for you. And Ray Durham. Although, at that time Michael was 30- I bet when he was a bit younger, his leap would’ve beat Durham’s. I’d wager he got better hangtime, too.
No argument w/ what you say. Ray was 22 or so then. It just shows the bad reporting at the time. As usual Scully is the man. Being a sportsfan, I figured I’d tell those who care.
