The “classic” columns are not selected at random, but are taken from Cecil’s books, which are organized by topics. Thus, it’s not uncommon that we have a long string of classics about some topic, like food or sports or excretions.
I wasn’t being snarky - that would have been LMGTFY. I was simply stating I have no personal experience with these, but looking online found a couple of helpful links.
Really, some people get touchy over the littlest things.
I worked in a Victorian building a while back (no, not in Victorian times :p) and the toilet was shaped like that. The timber seat was very wide though - but once that was raised, it was an easy target - with less danger of dripping on the floor :smack:
